Using this site means you accept these terms. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
What this service is
Willamette Pros is a registry. We check licences, we pass your request to one local business, and we audit the businesses we list with unannounced follow-up calls and, where it matters, a look at the work. It is run by Noah Goodman, a licensed Oregon contractor, through his company Two Man Crew LLC — the entity these terms are an agreement with.
What this service is not
We are not the contractor. We do not perform plumbing, electrical, roofing, painting, or hauling work. Every business on this registry is independent — it works under its own license, its own bond, and its own insurance, it sets its own prices, and it is solely responsible for the work it does and anything that goes wrong with it.
Your agreement for the work is between you and that business. We are not a party to it. We do not employ their people, supervise their work, guarantee their prices, or hold their money.
What "vetted" means, exactly
It means that on the date shown on that business's page, we checked its license against Oregon records, confirmed its bond and insurance, and published what we found. We re-check quarterly.
It does not mean we supervise their work, inspect their job sites, or guarantee any particular result. A licence check is a records check. Licenses lapse, insurance is cancelled, and good businesses have bad weeks — and none of that reaches us the moment it happens. Verify anything that matters to you directly with the contractor and with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board before you hire. We would rather tell you that than have you treat our badge as a warranty.
Audits
What appears on a business's page is our own assessment, built from audits: unannounced calls to a random sample of the people we referred, and a look at the work where it warrants one. We do not call everybody, and we publish critical findings as well as positive ones. An audit describes particular jobs at a point in time; it is not a prediction of what will happen on yours.
Nobody can post a review on this site. Attempting to influence what an audit finds — offering a customer anything in exchange for what they tell us, or asking them to withhold a complaint — removes a business from the registry immediately.
How businesses get listed, and how they get paid for
Businesses pay us a fee for each lead we send, charged to a card they keep on file with our payment processor. We do not store card numbers ourselves. Payment does not affect vetting, audit findings, or placement. We list roughly one business per skill per area, and we remove businesses whose licences lapse or whose audits fall below our standard. Being listed here is not an endorsement of any particular job, price, or outcome.
Your side of it
When you submit a request, tell us the truth about the job and give us a phone number that reaches you. Do not submit other people's details without their say-so, do not use this site to solicit the businesses on it, and do not submit automated or fake requests. We may refuse or remove any request, and we may decline to serve anyone who abuses the service.
Where we fall short
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, that a business will respond in any particular time, or that we will have a vetted business for every trade in every city — sometimes we will tell you we do not.
To the fullest extent Oregon law allows, Two Man Crew LLC is not liable for the work, conduct, pricing, delays, damage, or omissions of any independent business listed here, or for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of this site. Our total liability to you for anything connected with this site is limited to the amount you paid us, which is nothing — this site is free to use.
None of this limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, see fire, or have water actively flooding a property, call 911 or your utility first. Then deal with the contractor.
Ownership disclosure
Noah Goodman, who runs this site, also owns Two Man Crew — the handyman and remodeling business listed on this registry. We would rather you heard that from us than worked it out yourself.
It changes nothing about how that business is treated here. Its licence is checked on the same schedule, it is audited on the same random basis, anything critical we find gets published like anyone else's, and the same things that would remove another business would remove it. It is labelled as ours everywhere it appears, and it never receives a lead that the routing rules would have sent somewhere else.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts serving Clackamas County, Oregon.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when we last did.
